Currently, I am working on A Guard’s Dream. I’m not a super talented writer, but pushing ourselves and trying to get better is how we improve.
There is a saying “It takes 10,000 hours to become an expert.”
I think that has been disproven. It can be done in a shorter time frame or even take longer. It really boils down to is not the time but the effort put forth in improving. Sure time makes a difference as your brain needs to rewire itself.
Guess that is an odd thing to talk about on a site for writing fiction…
